	Orleans Songwriters Festival. The event also\, also known as “Songfest
	\,” is being sponsored by the American Society of Composers\, Authors 
	and Publishers (ASCAP)\, which has been representing songwriters\, com
	posers and publishers since its inception in 1914.Ask anyone that know
	s Jenny Brooks and they will tell you she belongs on stage. She's been
	 there all her life. As a kid\, she performed at the World’s Fair in N
	ew Orleans\, for the Dallas Mavericks\, New Orleans Saints and in Walt
	 Disney World. Since then\, Jenny has shared the Superbowl Halftime st
	age with Doug Kershaw and Irma Thomas and enjoyed the lead vocalist ro
	le for Celebrity Cruise Lines touring the Mediterranean. She has also 
	performed at countless festivals and concerts\, including a Hurricane 
	Katrina benefit for her hometown of Slidell\, LA. Most recently\, Jenn
	y was the opening act for Lonestar.Jenny's new CD is titled "Down In T
	he Bayou".
