	ue Mitchell will open Oct. 15 at the E. Bronson Ingram Studio Art Cent
	er at Vanderbilt University.The exhibits are free and open to the publ
	ic 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\, Monday through Friday. The opening reception 
	is also free and open to the public.Mitchellâs show\, "Mythos\," ble
	nds reality and fantasies in dream-like scenarios. The Portland\, Ore.
	\, artist presents his work on wood panels covered with gloss instead 
	of matted and framed behind glass.The "Time Lapse" show is a single-pr
	ojection video presentation put together by Winger-Bearskin\, a video-
	performance artist and senior lecturer in the Vanderbilt art departmen
	t. The works of several artists including Winger-Bearskin will be disp
	layed one after the other in the style of film screenings and time-lap
	se photography. Time Lapse is third in a series of four exhibitions: T
	ime Travelers\, Time Machine\, Time Lapse\, and Time Lapse: Antenna\, 
	curated by Amelia Winger-Bearskin. Amelia Winger-Bearskin is a Video/P
	erformance Artist who is currently teaching at Vanderbilt University i
	n the areas of Video\, Performance and Drawing. She is a featured arti
	st for the Perpetual Art Machine [PAM]\, a video collective and online
	 community based in New York City. She is currently working on a show 
	about the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's local homestead) with fellow fac
	ulty member Carlin Wing\, which will be shown during Black History Mon
	th (February) at the Scarett Bennet Center in Nashville\, TN.  For mor
