	r research. Come to the talk to learn what they are\, when they happen
	\, and how to avoid them. Wendy Castleman is a Principal User Research
	 Scientist with Intuit. She is a psychologist who has over eighteen ye
	ars of research and teaching experience in the area of human cognition
	 and user research. She is an advocate of design thinking and has deve
	loped robust processes and produced substantial increases in product u
	sability in both large and small technology companies. Wendy previousl
	y worked as a user researcher at Remedy Software\, Peregrine Systems\,
	 Motorola\, Certive\, Lucent and Philips Consumer Communications. She 
	received her Ph.D. in Cognitive and Perceptual Psychology from the Uni
	versity of Texas at Austin. \n
