DESCRIPTION: Get ready to laugh until you cry in 2008! Florida will pl
	ay host one of the most hilarious Miami events: the South Beach Comedy
	 Festival. Sponsored in part by Comedy Central\, this Florida festival
	 showcases not only the best of today’s stand up comedians\, but tom
	orrow’s as well. This high-profile Miami Event takes place from Janu
	ary 16th to the 19th and will be held at various venues in the area. K
	athy Griffin\, Dave Attell\, Steven Lynch\, Susie Essman and more will
	 be on hand this year to entertain the crowds. Acts will be held at th
	e Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theatre\, Colony Theater and others.

	oted to helping to find the next big thing. Every year\, there is a fr
	ee stage at Lincoln Road showcasing up-and-coming comics facing off to
	 be crowned the big winner. The “So You Think You Are Funny” comed
	y contest joins up with BIG105's Paul Castronoco and Young Ron. It was
	 already affiliated with the South Florida Improv Comedy Club. It all 
	begins on January 6th with an open call. Other rounds will be held on 
	the 9th and the 18th. Semi-finalists will be able to see themselves on
