	in the franchise’s nine year history\, the Mallards have scheduled a
	 day/night doubleheader for Sunday\, July 12 that will feature a numbe
	r of promotions throughout both games. The first game\, slated to begi
	n at 1:05 p.m.\, will feature Madison Children’s Museum Day with the
	 first 1\,000 kids 14 & under receiving Frank Lloyd Wright Coloring Ca
	rds courtesy of Taliesin & the first 500 families receiving a MyMenu F
	rozen Food Bag. MyMenu will also hold a delicious BBQ between games to
	 benefit the Madison Children’s Museum. Game two\, at 6:05 p.m.\, wi
	ll feature Alliant Energy Cereal Bowls for the first 1\,000 kids and W
	isconsin DOT & Habush\, Habush\, & Rottier Bike Helmets to the first 2
	50 youngsters as well. The Children’s Museum will hold numerous fun-
	filled kids activities in the Family Area located near the “Duck Pon
	d’s” front entrance throughout the first scheduled game.  Gates fo
	r the first game will open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are available through

	g (608) 246-4277. ::: Steve Carlson\, one of the three brothers who in
	spired the 1977 film #8220\;Slapshot\,” will be appearing at the “
	Duck Pond” for Hockey Night on Friday\, July 10. The first 750 adult
	s will also receive a Mallards Uniform Can Cooler courtesy of Bud Ligh
	t. Carlson will be available for photographs and autographs before and
	 during the Mallards game. The real-life inspirations for the Hanson B
	rothers are the brothers Jeff Carlson\, Jack Carlson\, and Steve Carls
	on. The brothers were born in Virginia\, Minn. and first played togeth
	er on the Marquette Iron Rangers hockey team in Marquette\, Mich. Alon
	g with their time on minor league-type teams like those depicted in th
	e film\, all three of the actors playing the Hanson Brothers spent tim
	e at the professional level as well. Steve Carlson played 225 games be
	tween the NHL and WHA.  Steve did have some fights in his professional
	 career\, but was known more of a finesse player.  The Mallards and Bu
	dweiser have again agreed to offer fans a free bus ride to and from ga
	mes this season from the following restaurants/bars: The Brass Ring (T
	hursdays)\, Nitty Gritty (downtown\, Fridays)\, Boston's Restaurant & 
	Sports Bar (Middleton\, Fridays)\, and Claddagh Irish Pub (Middleton\,
	 some Saturdays). One 40-person bus will pick up patrons from these lo
	cations 30 min. prior to gametime and return fans back immediately fol
	lowing a Mallards victory. Fans are encouraged to arrive early enough 
	in order to have the opportunity to win free Duck Blind tickets and as
