DESCRIPTION:A limited number of spaces are still available for childre
	n’s winter and spring art classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art.  
	Class schedules and registration forms are available at the Museum and
	 on the website http://museums.las-cruces.org. The winter session of c
	lasses will begin the week of January 5 and runs through the week of F
	ebruary 16.  Spring classes will begin the week of March 9 and end the
	 week of April 27.  Classes do not meet the week of March 23.  \n\nCer
	amics develop a young artist’s eye-hand coordination and fine motor 
	skills as they learn to manipulate clay.  Students will make coils and
	 slabs to create dishware\, teapots\, sculptured animals\, masks and a
	nything else a young mind can imagine.  Classes available for ages 6-8
	\, 9- 12\, and Preschool Play ‘n Clay for ages 4-5.\n\nArt-o-Rific M
	ix-o-Rama\, for ages 6-8\, is a mixed media art exploration of drawing
	\, painting and block printing with a contemporary view.  Projects wil
	l be inspired by important painters including Picasso\, Kandinsky\, Po
	llack\, etc.  \n\nThe Las Cruces Museum of Art is located at 491 N. Ma
