	rafts Fair\nIndianapolis\, Indiana – The IUPUI Staff Council will ho
	st its first Fine Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday\, November 22\, 200
	8\, in the IUPUI Campus Center\, located on the southwest corner of Mi
	chigan Street and University Boulevard.\nVisitors can choose holiday g
	ifts and one-of-a-kind handmade items offered by more than 40 crafters
	 and artisans from around the state.  Each vendor has been hand-select
	ed from a team of jurors from the Staff Council committee to ensure qu
	ality items are featured.  Items for sale include clothing\, glass art
	\, jewelry\, purses\, original artwork\, floral arrangements\, woodcra
	fts\, pottery\, stained glass\, candles\, and seasonal decorations for
	 the home and yard.  There will be free demonstrations by various craf
	ters throughout the day.\nThe event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, Nove
	mber 22. Admission to the fair is free of charge and open to the publi
	c.  Parking is available in the Vermont Street garage adjacent to the 
	Campus Center and discount parking vouchers will be given at the door.
	   \n\nShow co-chair\, Melanie Curfman promises “door prizes and a f
	un shopping experience.” Curfman\, administrative assistant for the 
	English Department in the School of Liberal Arts\, says that the Campu
	s Center will offer a variety of dining choices including Caribou Coff
	ee\, Mondo Subs and Outtakes.  The Barnes & Noble @IUPUI Bookstore Caf
	é will also offer an assortment of beverages and food options. \nThe S
	taff Council represents all non-faculty and non-union employees of IUP
	UI.  The Fine Arts and Crafts Fair is the group’s first major annual
	 fundraising effort. Proceeds from booth rental will support scholarsh
	ips for IUPUI students.  \nThe IUPUI Staff Council is excited to host 
	their first show for the community and hopes this event continues to g
	row in popularity\, according to Sue Herrell\, show co-chair and Staff
	 Council president.  \n“The new IUPUI Campus Center provides a stunn
	ing venue for this event.  Craft fair attendees are free to explore th
