'C Kraft in the Kitchen' is a program designed to investigate the craftsmanship of food preparati on and presentation. From the containers\, tools\, and methods used to prepare the food to the serving pieces and accessories used at the ta ble\, craft finds its full expression of culture and place at the Amer ican table. Using photographic images of finely crafted containers\, t ools\, dishes\, and linens as the basis\, the threads of craft are wov en with the culture of the kitchen. A Park Ranger will retrace Captain Lewis's footsteps almost to the same day when the Captain from the Corp of Discovery took an o bservation point July 17\, 1805. As we retrace almost 2 miles of Capta in Lewis's footsteps the public will experience a beautiful view of th e Missouri River Valley.
