n"The Naked Interface: Liberating Brain\, Body\, and Digital Interacti
ons"\n\nThroughout the electronic age\, people have become accustomed
to interacting with digital media indirectly\, mediated through screen
s and peripheral devices. But now\, as digital technology becomes invi
sibly embedded in everyday things\, the "feeling" of everyday things i
s also increasingly becoming embedded in digital technology.\n\nIn man
y senses\, physical objects are becoming more important. In an immedia
te way\, they can help us define new systems of relationships with dig
ital information. Luke Williams\, Creative Director at frog design\, e
xamines how perceptions and gestures formed through our experiences wi
th physical products can effectively bring liberty to the relationship
between brain\, body\, and digital media interface.\n\nLuke will cove
r:\n\n- how patterns and archetypes from product design now frame new
ways for people to orientate themselves around information\;\n\n- the
principle of stimulating one sense through another to create multi-sen
sory interactions\; and\n\n- new developments at the collision point b
etween "real world" objects and digital interfaces - the touch screen.
