	ntry fee is extra. Elevation - 7\,000 feet. The trail is on paved and 
	stone sidewalks or packed gravel along the south rim of the Grand Cany
	on. In 1932\, a conference of Geologist and Park officials decided Yav
	apai Point has the best views of the Canyon. Along with the spectacula
	r views\, the route takes you through Grand Canyon Village with its gi
	ft shops\, restaurants\, historic information\, Fred Harvey Museum\, a
	nd nature interpretations. An alternate trail goes east from Yavapai P
	oint. This route has fewer people on it and additional breathtaking vi
	ews. Walk either or both for one event credit.
