DESCRIPTION: Grimm's Fairy Tales is an original adaptation by Dr. John
	 Lawton Haehl and his students from the Gavilan College Children's The
	atre class. They’ve taken seven tales\, including Hansel & Grethel\,
	 Briar Rose and Rumplestiltskin\, and have created a children's play. 
	Our production features a magical and elaborate forest setting based o
	n the illustrations of Arthur Rackham. This lively and fun play will d
	elight audiences and inspire them to read other tales from this classi
	c collection. These stories were originally collected during the early
	 19th century\, with the intent of chronicling and preserving native G
	erman folklore. Some of these stories\, such as Cinderella and Sleepin
	g Beauty\, have gained universal recognition and have inspired major a
	nimated movies from Disney.
