	A) will host its annual ROBO-HOOPS autonomous\, computer-controlled ro
	bot design competition on Saturday\, December 6\, 2008. http://cede.ps
	u.edu/users/avanzato/robots/contests/robo-hoops/index.htm Robots must 
	battle head-to-head to shoot or dunk foam basketballs into a net. The 
	contest is open to all students in K-8\, high school\, college\, and b
	eyond. There will also be an optional remote-control division for K-8.
	 As always\, there are no restrictions on the choice of hardware or so
	ftware solutions -- be creative and resourceful. Any robot kits or com
	bination of kits are welcome. The event is free and is open to the pub
	lic. We will also host a robotics exhibits to demonstrate creative and
	 educational robotics and robotics research. All robots must register 
	using the form on the website. Registration is free and is now open. P
	lease register ASAP. No registrations will be accepted after the deadl
