	 the intimate informal atmosphere\, with a roaring log fire in winter\
	, provides a relaxed and beautiful setting which can make these evenin
	gs very special. This year we are delighted to welcome the Pavão Quar
	tet back to Blackwell. The Pavão Quartet last played at Blackwell in 
	2006 and the audience were treated to a delightful evening of music. T
	his versatile ensemble is not only highly-regarded in classical concer
	t venues across the world\, but has enjoyed collaborations with renown
	ed rock\, pop and jazz artists and even a contemporary dance company. 
	In addition to a busy UK schedule\, the Pavãos have also performed in
	 France\, Germany\, Italy\, Monaco\, New York and Switzerland. All fou
	r have shared the stage with some of the world’s finest musicians an
	d singers\, including Elton John\, Katherine Jenkins and Pavorotti. Th
	e concert programme at Blackwell will include performances of Haydn Qu
	artet No.49 - “Sunrise”\, Bax Quartet No.1 in G major\, and Mendel
	ssohn Quartet Opus post. 80 in F Minor. Wine will be served during the
	 interval. Places are very limited in the intimate setting of the Main
	 Hall at Blackwell\, so please book early as tickets for this special 
	evening are expected to be popular.
