	ve to do this again. Imagine having an aeriel view of all the beauty a
	round you and soaring through the air like an eagle. Whether you are l
	ooking for the quiet\, surreal experience of powerless flight\, want t
	o go up mid-afternoon and experience the challenge of soaring like the
	 birds\, or love the roller coasters and are looking for the ride of y
	our life\, hang gliding will give you the feeling. Having already jump
	ed out of a perfectly good airplane last summer\, I wanted to try my h
	ands at hang-gliding this summer. It's simply a great feeling to be ha
	lf a mile up in the air and seeing all the immense beauty below you. S
	pecifics You have 2 options this time: You can hang glide the 2\,300 f
	eet option ($139) Or do Mile-high- 5\,000 feet. ($235) Both are tandem
	 flights\, meaning that you'll have an instructor with you. Afterwards
	\, we'll hang out and have a little picnic (the venue has a nice picni
	c ground) and talk about our war stories while in the air :) Cost incl
	udes food and soda provided by me. I'll grill hot dogs\, burgers\, and
	 chicken and that's just for starters :) BYOB. Typical First Lesson lo
	oks like this\; 1).Arrive for lesson. 2).Complete about five minutes o
	f paperwork. 3).Talk about the procedures and controls. 4).Climb into 
	the glider. 5).Review procedures and controls. 6).Relax and enjoy the 
	view while your instructor pilots the aircraft to altitude 7).Release 
	from the tow line. 8).Take the controls and pilot the glider down to a
	n altitude of about 300 ft. 9).Relax while your instructor rolls in on
	 the wheels for a smooth landing. 10).Become addicted to hang gliding 
	and sign up for more lessons Refund Policy No refunds unless the event
	 is canceled due to inclement weather (ie\; strong winds or rain). You
	 can sell your spot to another person should you not be able to go. Ca
	rpooling options Please list if you can drive or wish to be driven and
	 from where. Please list that in the comments box on the left hand sid

	 section as it'll be hard for people to respond to. As a courtesy\, we
	 only ask that you pay the driver a few dollars for gas money due risi
	ng gas prices nowadays. Attendance List 12-2pm time slot. Directions-R
	oughly 90 minute drive from DC ***From DC: Follow Route 50 East across
	 the Bay Bridge ($2.50 one-way toll).*** Stay right at the 50/301 spli
	t and continue on 50 East for another 7 miles. Turn left at the light 
	onto Route 404 East. Continue about 7 miles and turn left at the light
	 onto Route 480 East toward Ridgely. Approx. 3 miles down turn left at
	 the Mercantile Eastern Shore Bank onto 312 North and drive through to
	wn. Please note: our local police have been actively enforcing the spe
	ed limits. Once past town\, 312 will bend around to the right. Drive a
	bout 3/4 mile and turn right onto Racetrack Road\, where there's a han
	g glider displayed at the turn. Follow the road for about 4/10 mile an
	d Ridgely Airport is on the left. Please park at the entrance. Our off
