	ebration of Life Amid the Blue Ridge October 19\, 2008 13th Annual Hot
	 Air Balloon & Wine Festival We will meet around 11:30 in the Tyson's 
	Corner area to carpool. We can pick up at the Vienna Metro if necessar
	y. You can bring your folding chairs or blankets for a picnic at the f
	air. Bring a bag lunch\, for a picnic or munchies to have with the win
	e. Wine Tasting in Virginia’s Hunt Country Sip vintages from a wide s
	election of Virginia wineries from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sund
	ay. A tasting glass and wristband purchase at $10 per person permits t
	hose 21 and over to sample wines. Wine glass sales end at 4:30 p.m. an
	d photo ID is required. Sunrise to Sunset Activities Stay busy or just
	 park your chair or blanket on the lawns of Long Branch while enjoying
	 a variety of live entertainment. Festival foods sell non-stop through
	out the weekend\, tasty Johnsonville Brats for lunch and afternoon sna
	cking. Virginia Giant Monster Truck rides ($5 last year)\, the Old Dom
	inion Fire Society antique fire engine display\, Plane Crazy radio-con
	trolled planes and more continue throughout the weekend. Each person c
	an buy their tickets online or at the door. Online by October 7th is $
	16 for entrance and wine tasting. No refunds. At the door is $10 Admis
	sion\, and $10 for wine tasting\, for a total of $20 if you will be ta
	sting wine. We will set up a gathering picnic area upon our arrival\, 
	before setting out to enjoy the fair and wine tasting. Bring your Lunc
	h or snacks to share. There is also plenty of food for sale at the fai
	r in addition to the wines. Hot Air balloons depart around 4pm weather
	 permitting. The Shenandoah's Fall foliage is even more spectacular fr
	om a hot air balloon. Flights book quickly and advance reservations (w
	ith participating pilots) are highly recommended. Rides are available\
	, at $250 per person\, weather permitting.\n
