	e:Held in Tulsa\, OK\, Dfest is similar to SXSW music conference and f
	estival in Austin\, TX\, but is on a much smaller scale and our focus 
	is more music-centric. In showcasing 130+ artists in two evenings\, we
	 present the best emerging independent artists in the country includin
	g Oklahoma\, Regional and National artists. During the day\, we also i
	nclude the conference aspect of the event at our host hotel.\n\nIn 200
	6\, our artist showcases\, panels\, workshops\, and clinics were so po
	pular they were standing room only in attendance. Attendees drove from
	 all over Oklahoma and surrounding states including Texas\, Kansas\, A
	rkansas\, Missouri\, Nebraska\, Colorado\, New Mexico and Louisiana.\n
	\nOn another level\, Dfest is also a tool for artists and business peo
	ple to promote themselves. This can work on the level of unsigned arti
	sts looking for various kinds of deals -- record deals\, publishing de
	als\, agency deals\, management deals -- up to more established artist
	s who are promoting a new project.\n\nBy selecting artists as widely a
	s we can in terms of music genres\, there's an audience for just about
	 every type of music you can think of.\n\nThe Sixth Annual Dfest 2007.
	 The conference panels\, clinics and tradeshow will be held at the bea
	utiful downtown DoubleTree Hotel. The festival will showcase over 130 
	artists in the beautiful BLUE DOME DISTRICT located in the heart of Do
