	new single ‘Grace\, Don’t Wait!’ is out now. After opening up th
	e NME Stage at Last Year's Oxegen\, The Coronas will be playing the Ma
	in Stage this weekend. Their last single San Diego Song spent a stagge
	ring 20 weeks in the Irish top 40 and the release of their debut album
	 Heroes or Ghosts in October 2007 was met with rave reviews and has be
	en lodged in the Irish charts ever since.  It is available in all maj
	or stores and on download.   Danny O’Reilly (vocals/guitar) and Gra
	ham Knox (bass) are lifetime friends. Forever they have been surrounde
	d by music but it wasn’t until O’Reilly began writing songs at the
	 tender age of 13 that they decided it would be cool to start a band. 
	They recruited another couple of school friends and began playing thei
	r first gigs on a Saturday afternoons in a run-down pub in Dublin’s 
	City Centre.   Their adventures however\, were short-lived as the ban
	d broke up before they turned 18. O’Reilly\, Knox and Egan\, however
	\, continued to create music but soon they began to miss the thrill of
	 live gigging\, calling themselves The Coronas\, they decided to start
	 playing to anyone who would listen.   In 2005 they recorded a live E
	P entitled Corona\, the CD began to get burned and passed around the D
	ublin college scene and in December 2006 they sold out two shows in Wh
	elan’s purely from word of mouth. In January 2007 they released thei
	r debut single ‘Decision Time’ which reached no.8 in the retail ch
	arts. Another top 20 single followed entitled ‘The Talk’ which res
	ulted in the band being signed to UK agency Marshall Arts.   Tickets
