	een Frog Level and Smyrna\, stands a gas station. Across the blacktop 
	is a roadside eatery called the Double Cupp Diner. The four guys at th
	e station\, Jim\, Jackson\, Eddie\, and L.M. have been known to do som
	e auto repairs\, but only when aided by quantities of time and beer. T
	he Cupp Sisters\, Prudie and Rhetta\, celebrate their home cooking wit
	h the same zeal they bring to being neighborly with the boys. Together
	\, performing on guitars\, piano\, bass and\, yes\, kitchen utensils\,
	 they fashion an evening of country western songs that received raves 
	on and off- Broadway.\n \nPerformance Now Theatre Company proudly pres
	ents âPump Boys and Dinettes\,â October 10 - 19\, at the Lakewood 
	Cultural Center\, 470 S. Allison Parkway. Performances are Fridays & S
	aturdays at 7:30 p.m.\; Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $24 and are avai

	Under the direction of Kelly Van Oosbree\, the cast includes Alisa Vau
	ghters as Prudie Cupp\, Jennifer Burnett as Rhetta Cupp\, Eric Lentz a
	s Jim and Michael Bowerman as L.M. The show features Ken Goodwin from 
	Sing Sing Dueling Pianos as Jackson and special guest Bob Haworth as E
	ddie. Haworth is a former member of The Brothers Four and The Kingston
	 Trio.\n \nThe original performance group of "Pump Boys and Dinettes" 
	consisted of John Foley\, Mark Hardwick\, Debra Monk\, Cass Morgan\, J
	ohn Schimmel and Jim Wann. Not only did the members of this group writ
	e the musical\, they starred in the Broadway production and directed i
	t as well. The musical premiered on Broadway on February 4\, 1982 at t
	he Princess Theatre and closed June 18\, 1983 after 573 performances.\
