DESCRIPTION:The Carver High School exhibit will be re-shown July 12 at
	 the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum\; this year\, the exhibit will run
	 through September 27.\n\nThe exhibit on Delray Beachâs historically
	 black school will feature contributions of yearbooks\, report cards a
	nd trophies from former students including Mrs. Vera Farrington\, foun
	der of EPOCH (Expanding & Preserving Our Cultural Heritage) Inc.\, whi
	ch owns the museum\; retired Col. William Condry of Delray Beach\; ret
	ired Virginia dentist Dr. Elizabeth Daniels\; California physician Dr.
	 Benjamin Monroe\; Rev. Herman Pride\, pastor of the Presbyterian Chur
	ch of Brunswick\, Georgia\; Walter Wade\, former Athletic Director for
	 the Atlanta school system and Raymond âYankâ McDougal\, retired h
	ead football coach and golf coach at Fayetteville State University in 
	Fayetteville\, North Carolina. \n\nMany Carver alumni have gone on to 
	have successful careers in medicine\, dentistry\, education\, the cler
	gy and the military.  \n\nâItâs a special honor to be able to cons
	truct an exhibit made up from the history of Delray Beachâs graduate
	s\,â said museum curator Brandy Brownlee. âEvery person has a stor
	y â no matter how great or humble â and the Spady is proud to be a
	ble to recognize the many terrific stories coming out of Carver High S
	chool. We welcome the public to visit and witness another side of Delr
	ay life.â\n\nComing up at the Spady: Spady Living Heritage Day will 
	be held on September 6\, 2008. After the success of last yearâs fest
	ival\, held on historic NW Fifth Avenue\, this yearâs fall festival 
	will welcome back several popular entertainers\, cooks and storyteller
	s. The Spady Museum will be in the center of the action. The event is 
	from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.\; admission is free.\n\nAbout the Spady Museum
	\nThe Spady Cultural Heritage Museum\, a non-profit organization locat
	ed in Palm Beach County\, is dedicated to discovering\, collecting and
	 sharing the African-American history and heritage of Florida. Located
	 in the former home of the late Solomon D. Spady at 170 NW 5th Avenue\
	, the museum opened in July 2001. It is the only African-American cult
	ural heritage museum of its kind in Palm Beach County. For more inform
