	 DON'T MISS THIS FUN EVENT... EL SCORCHO TRES 25k Trinity Park\, Fort 
	Worth Sunday\, July 19\, 2009 at 12:00 A.M. (Yes\, that really does sa
	y A.M.) This is becoming another annual tradition. We had a blast last
	 year. I plan to do the 25k (15.5 miles) again this year and would lov
	e to have some of you join me. You must register for the race\, pick u
	p your race packet\, etc. on your own. RSVP here too\, so we know you 
	are coming. Registration opens in February and is limited to 500 parti
	cipants. Register early. Registration WILL close when they reach their
	 limit. Plus the earlier you register the better the price. See the El
	 Scorcho web site for race registration and additional information: ht
	tp://www.elscorchorun.com/ You will need a headlamp and/or flashlight 
	for this race. Also bring a lawn chair and anything else you may want 
	for post race socializing. (Most of our group will stay\, visit\, and 
	cheer until all of our walkers finish.) We will set up our chairs and 
	bags near the starting line. The 25k is five times around a 5k course\
	, and you will have access to your bag/supplies at the end of each loo
	p. Always check the event listing on the web site before leaving for o
	ur meetings. View the RSVPs and comments in the "talk about this meetu
	p" section at the bottom of the listing for updates and additional inf
	ormation. Walkers participating in any race should have completed an a
	dequate training plan and be able to maintain a pace to complete the e
	vent well within the designated time limit. DON'T FORGET TO R.S.V.P --

	0 to the University exit and head north on University. Go to Lancaster
	 and turn right. Volunteers will be out there to direct you into the p
	arking lot. Farrington Field is a big lot\, so make sure you park in t
	he southeast corner. From there\, it is a 1/4 mile walk to the race st
	arting area at Trinity Park. Any further away\, and you could find you
	rself walking quite a while\, which won't seem like a big deal until t
	he race is over you have to trek back out there.\n
