DESCRIPTION:The Columbia International Festival showcases the music\, 
	culture\, food\, and performing arts of the various cultures\, nationa
	lities\, races\, and language groups represented in South Carolina. Th
	e event brings all of the area's international communities together to
	 build better community/race relations between various ethnic/cultural
	/language groups and with the South Carolina community at large. Estim
	ated attendance for 2009 is 20\,000. \nThe largest yearly internationa
	l event in South Carolina and neighboring states. \nAn indoor event at
	tended by approximately 15\,000 people in each year \nGlobal Education
	 Day. 4\,000 school children from all across the state will attend thi
	s one-day educational event on April 4\, 2008 as part of the 3-day fes
	tivities. Our theme for this year will be announced soon.  Students wi
	ll be able to enjoy a 45 minute presentation designed especially for t
	hem\, by a team of South Carolina Educators\, that will highlight cult
	ural celebrations from China. Students will also be able to "visit" cu
