DESCRIPTION: Ian began his comedy career in 1992 in his native country
	 of Canada. He moved through the ranks of the Canadian comedy circuit 
	quickly and found himself headlining after only two years. In 1994 he 
	made his first appearance at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Fe
	stival in Montreal. Seeking new challenges\, he moved to New York in 1
	995 and promptly became a regular at New York City's Comic Strip. In 1
	995\, he performed at the Toyota Comedy Festival in New York\; in 1996
	 he did the U.S. Comedy and Arts Festival in Aspen\; and in 1997 he re
	turned to The Just For Laughs Festival\, where he was selected to perf
	orm on the "Best of the Fest" show that was filmed on its final night.
	 Ian has appeared on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" three times and h
