DESCRIPTION:  If you have not been to Clifty Falls in Indiana\, you ca
	n't miss this hike. Nice rugged terrain\, beautiful scenery\, multiple
	 waterfalls (probably all dry now due to the lack of rain)\, a cave to
	 explore\, river crossings. I really was impressed. We will target 6+ 
	miles\, but because of the terrain this will be at least a 4 hour hike
	. There will be lots of hill work going in and out of the canyon. Sinc
	e the riverbed will probably be dry we will hike up it\, so wear very 
	sturdy shoes/boots - we will be going over lots of rocks. And of cours
	e\, bring lots of water (at least 48 ounces). If you have hiking sanda
	ls\, those worked great for me last year since there is always some wa
	ter in the riverbed. Camping: We will also be camping. RSVP at http://

	helter near the north gate of the park. Plenty of parking around the s
	helter\, and I think it has restrooms. We will have a hiker's potluck 
	after the hike at the shelter. Bring snack food to share with the grou
	p (chips\, fruit\, cookies\, crackers\, cupcakes\, granola\, etc.). Yo
	u can leave most of your food in your car until the end of the hike. W
	e will take a break during the hike so you can bring a small snack on

	pdf Directions: You can go west from Cincinnati I-275 and then south\,
	 or down I-71 in Kentucky and north into Indiana. I went the northern 
	route and it was very simple. I-275 (south of I-74) and take the Lawre
	nceburg exit #16 US-50 and go west 27 miles\, turn south (left) on 421
	 and go about 22 miles. Turn west (right) on 62 and drive 3 miles to t
	he park. Park entrance fee is $5 or $7 depending on whether you look l
	ike you are from Indiana. Carpool: Meet at 9:15 in Lawrenceburg at Kro
	gers (371 W Eads Pkwy Lawrenceburg IN). Park in the South East corner.
