	Description: An introduction to high-performance computing\, available
	 research computing hardware facilities at UNC\, parallel programming 
	tools and utilities\, as well as software packages' availability and a
	ccess will be presented in this workshop. You will learn what hardware
	 and software facilities are available on campus\, how to subscribe to
	 campus research computing services\, how to compile your serial and p
	arallel codes on various machines\, serial and parallel computing basi
	cs\, how to submit jobs via the load share facility (LSF)\, and file m
	anagement techniques. Hands-on exercises will be provided.Prerequisite
