	 lecturer and as "Dr. Baba Jon Mundane" a standup philosopher/comedian
	. He met Dr. Helen Schucman (the scribe for A Course in Miracles) and 
	Dr. William Thetford in 1973. They along with Dr. Ken Wapnick introduc
	ed Jon to A Course in Miracles in April 1975 – 15 months before its p
	ublication. Helen served as Jon’s mentor and “mother hen” until she
	 became ill in 1980. Jon has given more than 1\,700 talks based on the
	 teaching of A Course in Miracles. A University Teacher since 1967\, J
	on currently serves as Lecturer in Philosophy at SUNY (The State Unive
	rsity of New York). He teaches courses on "The History of Mysticism\,"
	 “The History of Philosophy\,” "The Psychology of Religion\," "World
	 Religions\," and "World Views and Values." Jon has authored 8 books i
