At this event\, W aimnalo community members will have the opportunity to recycle cell ph ones\, computers\, batteries\, tires\, scrap metal\, printer cartridge s\, newspaper\, telephone books\, beverage containers and many other i tems. We will also offer curbside pick-up of bulky items and free towi ng of unwanted vehicles. An event of this size could not be accomplish ed without support from individuals and businesses in the community. W e are recruiting nearly 100 volunteers to help unload and sort the rec yclables for community members\, drive trucks for curbside pick up\, a nd direct the flow of vehicles in and out of Waimnalo Beach Park. Volu nteers can sign up for one of 2 shifts: 7:30am-11am or 11am -2:30pm. V olunteers are also needed in groups of 3 to drive trucks for curbside pickup of bulky items.
