DESCRIPTION: This summer\, the Charles River Watershed Association is 
	partnering with Charles River Canoe & Kayak Center to remove the invas
	ive water chestnut plant from the Newton and Waltham area of the Charl
	es.  Canoes are provided for volunteers who wish to go out on the rive
	r and pull the water chestnuts\, either with rakes or by hand\, and th
	ere will be a short training session preceding the actual pulling of t
	he chestnuts. There will be four public events during the summer\, whe
	re we welcome any volunteers (RSVP is required):  Thursday\, June 25th
	 - 5:30 to 8 PM  Tuesday\, July 7th - 5:30 to 8 PM  Saturday July 11th
	 - 10 AM to 2 PM  Sunday\, July 19th - 10 AM to 2 PM  For more informa
