	 event is an official tape-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the opening 
	of the Waseda University Incubation Center (WIC). This event will be l
	ed by Dr. Katsuhiko Shirai\, President of Waseda University and Dr. Ta
	keru Ohe\, Professor in the Waseda University Business School and Dire
	ctor of the Incubation Promotion Office. They Keynote speaker will be 
	Mr. Sadahiro Sugita\, and official from the Ministry of Economics and 
	Trade Industry\, METI. The Waseda University Incubation Center (WIC) p
	rovides multi-faceted assistance to Waseda University faculty members 
	and students intent on becoming international entrepreneurs. The goal 
	of the Center is to create new\, future-oriented venture businesses an
	d to provide a comprehensive infrastructure made up of Waseda Universi
	ty academic resources and facilities. WIC will provide venture busines
	s support\, management guidance\, consulting\, support for capital/fun
	draising\, and support for promoting cooperation with external compani
	es\, affiliated companies\, government departments and local administr
