	will delve into the challenges and delights of writing for children. T
	hrough a combination of literary discussions\, exercises\, and writing
	 workshops\, students will explore today&39\;s children&39\;s book mar
	ketâ&128\;&148\;from picture books and poetry through middle grade and
	 young adult novelsâ&128\;&148\;and develop techniques for creating an
	 authentic voice without condescending to their readers. Instructor: E
