	 After a brief period in calling games for the Cleveland Indians\, he 
	joined the Red Sox broadcast tem in 1983. Besides broadcasting\, he cu
	rrently lectures at Northeastern University where he teaches a course 
	on sports broadcasting. In 2004\, Joe published a book called Broadcas
	t Rites and Sites: I Saw It on the Radio with the Red Sox.
