DESCRIPTION:  VENUE INFO Macky's has a full dinner menu as well as app
	etizers and bevs of all types \;-) There is FREE parking in the garage
	 across the street after 5pm. (has blue signs above it). If you wish t
	o eat dinner try to arrive a few minutes early so that spades can begi
	n promptly at 7pm. Please remember to TIP your servers so that our SMA
	LL group will continue to be welcomed ____________________ EVENT FLOW 
	We have both social and competitive players. To accomodate both philos
	ophies we play at "social" and "competitive" tables. (read below for m
	ore details about social/competitive) If we are unable to split games 
	by social/comp the table should come to an understanding as to rules a
	nd method of play BEFORE starting the game. Competitive tables\, for t
	he 3rd game\, will turn in their scoresheets and players will start re
	ceiving rankings. GAME #1 7:00 - 8:00 PLAY AS SEATED....as people arri
	ve and sit that is the people you play. GAME #2 8:10 - 9:10 DRAW FOR P
	ARDS....our typical draw for your pards GAME #3 9:20 - end PICK YOUR P
	ARD...so everyone get to know each other! we will be drawing for opps.
	 Each game will be 500 points/1 hour which ever comes first. rules can

	ifference is between competitive and social play\, my first response i
	s to say it has NOTHING to do with your skill level and everything to 
	do with your reason for playing! Here is my attempt at an explanation.
	.. social Leniency regarding table talk. Flexibility chosing rules and
	 style of play. More relaxed\, easy going play. Smack talk allowed. co
	mpetitive Strict no table talk rules\, including verbal and non verbal
	 communication. Partners are apt to question your play. Hand analysis 
	is permitted but cannot disrupt/delay the game. Implementation of tour
	nament rules regarding: use of bid decks\, reneges\, revokes\, delay o
	f game\, penalty cards\, etc... Smack talk not advised.\n
