Thanksgiving is a time of year to be grateful for all of our blessings and give thanks, and on Saturday, November 7 from 12pm -5pm you can give thanks to Little Shelter and the animals in your life at our ‘Paws to Give Thanks’ Adoption & Thanksgiving Extravaganza. This day to ‘warm the soul’ is sure to have something for everyone!
Little Shelter takes pride in maintaining close working relationships with other rescues that share the same life-saving mission, and you will be able to meet many of these fabulous organizations and their adoptable animals including: Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Grateful Greyhounds, Monte’s Place Chinchilla Rescue, Project Sage Horse Rescue, several local town shelters and more! Please help us to ensure the animals whose lives depend on these wonderful groups have a full belly and all that they could hope for this Thanksgiving by bringing your donation of canned or dry dog or cat food, toys, treats and beds.
In addition, leading New York photographer, Len Marks Fine Art Photography will be available to capture stunning memories of your pets or family in holiday or fall scenes. Packages are $25 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Little Shelter. To view samples of their gorgeous work, visit www.lenmarksphoto.com.
And when you’re done petting, snuggling and posing for the camera, be sure to browse our bake sale and find your favorite tasty ‘Fall delights’ to enjoy with family or friends, and take a tour of Little Shelter and witness first hand the wonderful work that we do. For more than 80 years, Little Shelter has been an integral part of the community, offering hope for many thousands of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
Don’t forget that Little Shelter will have hundreds of animals available for adoption, all looking for something extra special to be thankful for this year – a loving home!
