Huntington Beach Public Speaking Meetup

Come to meet local speakers and communicators this Tuesday. Learn to develop and present prepared or impromptu speeches in a mutual support environment. We emphasize on participating in a warm supportive environment with well defined structure to help each participant become better in public speaking. You don't need to speak as a guest if you don't feel comfortable to do so. The theme of the meeting this week is "In the pursuit of happiness". The first potion of the meeting is "Table Topics" where we practice 'think on your feet' speaking skills. Followed by "Prepared Speeches" session. We will have three speakers at different level to give their speeches on the topics of their own choice. Each speaker is assigned an evaluator. This is the third segment of the meeting - "Evaluation". The idea of evaluation is to praise aspects of a speech well-done and constructively point out areas that in the evaluator's eyes how changes might make the speech better. Sounds like fun?
