Rural Hill Farm-Center of Scottish Heritage is housed in the historic homestead of Major John and Violet (Wilson) Davidson. A descendant of Scottish immigrants, John Davidson joined the Patriot cause during the American Revolution. Today, Rural Hill is a restoration in progress with 265 acres of magnificent rural vistas, 11 historic and reconstructed buildings, a variety of farm animals, and walking trails throughout the site.
