Since forming in 1995, Comfortably Numb - Canada's Pink Floyd Show has earned the much-deserved reputation as one of the leading Pink Floyd tribute acts in the world. Brain Damage, the only fan website in the world recognized and supported by the members of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters, recently reviewed a show as "Considered musically, one of the best in the world!"
Comfortably Numb performed to over 45,000 fans in 2010 and was a headline act at Le Festivoix De Trois-Rivières music festival in 2010. As of one of Canada's leading outdoor music festivals, Comfortably Numb - Canada's Pink Floyd Show performed a sold out show to over 14,000 fans!
The band's success is a testament to the continuing interest in the music and legacy of Pink Floyd, and Comfortably Numb's authentic re-creation of the "70's Pink Floyd Experience." (c.'69-'83 ONLY, no post Roger Waters era Pink Floyd).
Led by Azim Keshavjee, a well-respected, talented and versatile musician, the band's consistently sold out shows feature world-class musicianship combined with spectacular multi-media and visual effects.
"This show is based on how Pink Floyd would perform these songs in concert during this era, and how they would interpret album versions of songs live in concert. Some versions of the songs were simply concept songs performed live that were re-worked and then recorded after the fact," explains Azim Keshavjee, lead guitarist for Comfortably Numb.
