Cost to enroll: $270 + $45 Lab Fee

Combining the practices of art making and storytelling, students will create clay sculptures based on imagery derived from personal icons, symbols, dreams, and mythology. Students will learn a variety of basic hand-building techniques, surface applications, and firing processes while working with stains, oxides, underglazes, slips, and glazes. Please bring a sketchbook and one bag of low-fire clay body to the first class.

Pre-registration is required. Please download and return your registration form along with payment to the Glassell School of Art, Studio School registrar’s office before the first day of class.
