Saturday, December 5
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Bring your teddy bear, doll or other favorite friend for a "beary" special check-up. Museum educators and volunteers will help you practice being a "doctor," check your bear's heartbeat, teach your bear healthy habits and much more! And guess who else will be getting a check-up - Santa Claus!
Visit Check-up Stations:
Beary Delicious - Find out about portion size and how to make the best food choices. Then, make a yummy, healthy snack and take home a recipe.
Bear Basics - Check your bear’s heartbeat, blood pressure and other vital signs. Don’t forget to make sure that your bear has all its shots!
Tough Teeth - Take a look at your bear’s teeth to ensure proper brushing and flossing.
Teddy Exam Room - Use Real and toy doctors’ tools to make sure your bear is in tip-top shape.
Squeaky Clean - Show your bear how to keep germs away by washing your hands.
Seeing is Believing - Four eyes are better than two. Check out your eyes and your bear’s eyes.
Beary Fit - Health and wellness are important! Learn some easy exercises and stretches that will keep you and your bear healthy.
Perry Medix and the Sirens - Watch our live puppet show and find out more about keeping you and your bear safe.

Payment required.
