Description
Why do some birds fly and some birds swim? After reading Make Way for Ducklings, we will learn how birds adapt for their environments. Tadpole Troopers classes are nature investigations for 3, 4 and early 5 year olds accompanied by a big person of their choice. Learn how to engage your child or grandchild in a lifelong love of the outdoors. Next Classes - Friday, November 20: 10:30- 11:45 a.m. Saturday, November 21:9:00 - 10:15 a.m. 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
One parent/adult participant per child required (only one adult please). Advanced reservation required. Register online at www.houstonarboretum.org/tadpoletroopersform.asp, in person, or by mail or fax (713-682-2539). Payment must be included at time of registration. Cost (per child/per class): $13 for members (Family Tree or above); $26 for non-members. (Cost includes one adult with child) Registration deadline is noon on Friday prior to each class (noon on Thursday for all Friday morning classes); confirmation will be mailed or emailed to you.
