Step Out to Fight Diabetes

On behalf of the millions of Americans with diabetes and their families and friends, we are counting on you to help our team make a difference! The funds we raise will support the American Diabetes Association?s important research, information and advocacy efforts and its mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Step Out with us in 2008 and raise funds to help find a cure for diabetes. Families, friends and co-workers are welcome at this community event designed to give hope to the millions of children and adults living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Participate in the 3K walk or our new 5K run at the downtown location and in The Woodlands. Health screenings, sugar-free sno cones and kids crafts to immediately follow the walk. You can form a team of walkers or register as an individual - either way you?ll feel like a champion. You may not remember how many steps you took to complete the journey, but you?ll always remember the extraordinary feeling of making a difference!
