Talento Bilingüe de Houston presents Perfume de Gardenia, Thursday through Saturday, February 26-28.

Talento Bilingüe de Houston is proud to present José Rubén De León and Aaron E. Prado who will return to our stage for an unforgettable performance.

Talento Bilingüe de Houston will host an evening of elegance, romance and nostalgia as acclaimed San Antonio vocalist José Rubén De León and pianist Aaron E. Prado perform a collection of songs from the 1930’s and 1940’s by Puerto Rican composer Maestro Rafael Hernández.

De Leon, is a Theatre Arts graduate from the University of Incarnate Word. He makes his home in San Antonio, TX, though, he embarked on his career in his hometown of Laredo, TX. In Laredo he not only performed but attained the position as Artistic Administrator and Director for the Little League Theatre where he produced and directed many works. As an accomplished vocalist and independent record producer he has recorded a collection of bilingual love songs that have inspired many of his audiences.

Prado, a San Antonio resident graduated from Columbia University in New York City where he studied and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. While attending school he also took on the position as Student Director for WKCR a radio station at Columbia University. He currently holds the position as the Music Director for KRTU 91.7 FM, San Antonio’s jazz station at Trinity University as well as the Radio Instructor for the Department of Communication at Trinity University.

Performances are Thursday, February 26th through Saturday, February 28th all performances at 8 p.m.
