This contest is open to the public.
In honor of its 1st year anniversary, Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center (PaRC) Adolescent Program will host an essay contest for patients, family members, and friends, this July, and asks, "How has alcohol and drug addiction affected your family?" Or “How has receiving treatment (at the PaRC) changed your life?” The contest is open to current and former patients, of PaRC, as well as their family, friends and the public.
The grand prize winner will receive a $100 gift card to Target. Second prize is a $50 gift card and third prize is a $25 gift card to Target.
Essay contest registration forms are available online at www.mhparc.org/files/entry_form.pdf . Entries must be typed, must not exceed 450 words and must be submitted by e-mail to mhparcessay@memorialhermann.org or faxed to (713) 329-7560 to the attention of "1st Anniversary Essay Contest" with a completed entry form. Once submitted, all entries are property of Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center and may be archived for public use in print, online or in other formats.
Limit: One entry per person.
The contest deadline is August 17. Winners will be announced in August on our website.
