Led by Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski, the Symphony presents a rousing musical salute to Independence Day. Hear Tchaikovsky's stirring, 1812 Overture, and favorite all-American tunes. The evening's performances will feature: Michael Krajewski, conductor Cactus Cuties S. Reineke's Celebration FanfareJ. S. Smith's The Star Spangled Banner Gould's American Salute J. Ungar and B. Cerulli's Ashokan Farewell Copland's Lincoln Portrait W. Steffe's The Battle Hymn of the Republic [no orch.]Foster / Dragon's Oh! Susanna Arr. B. Ayars's The Yellow Rose of Texas Hayman's Pops Hoedown Arr. Hayman's Service Medley S. A. Ward / Dragon's America the Beautiful Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, Opus 49 The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display. Fireworks provided by Miller Theatre Advisory Board.
