Houston Native and Stand Up Comedian Vickie Shaw has moved back to Houston and is teaming up with fellow comic Jennie McNulty for a fantastic night of Stand Up Comedy and Improvisation. You won’t want to miss these funny women, both recently voted to the top 10 funniest lesbians in America. Each will perform stand up separately and then play together doing hysterical improvisation based on suggestions from the audience. Vickie Shaw - Vickie Shaw returns to Houston with her slow paced (she's southern), incredibly endearing, (she's southern), sharp, don't mess with her (she's southern!), comedy. Vickie starred in her own one woman show on MTV Network’s LOGO channel. She performs several times a year with Olivia Cruises and Resorts and has headlined countless Pride events throughout the country. Vickie doesn't have to go far from home for material - as a recovering SoB (Southern Baptist) and out lesbian mother, she's successfully raised two sons (one of whom is married and just gave her a "two perfect granddaughters"), has a college daughter and all of them are living at home in the "Compound", and a "husbian" in Sgt. Patch. Yeah there's enough material there to fill a few hours. Vickie has performed in almost every State in the US, and had headlined in too many venues to list here but trust us, this girl's been around.

Jennie McNulty - can currently be seen on MTV Network’s LOGO channel in the comedy special “One Night Stand Up”. She can also be seen weekly in her walking talk show, "Jennie McNulty Presents: Walking Funny With…” on LOGO’s AfterEllen website (http://www.afterellen.com/taxonomy/term/3789 ). She has traveled the world doing comedy – literally. In addition to headlining in comedy clubs all over the US and Canada, she has entertained the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. She also does comedy in more peaceful settings as one of the favorites of Olivia Cruises and Resorts. Jennie spends her summer seasons performing nightly in Provincetown, MA and has performed at The Toronto Gay and Lesbian Comedy Festival; The “Dinah Shore” event; and dozens of Pride events coast to coast. Jennie also produces the popular “Rainbow Comedy Night” in Ventura, CA. McNulty is a regular at Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas. She was also featured as a physical trainer on the hit NBC Show "Starting Over." AND, she plays women’s tackle football for the California Quake in the Independent Women’s Football League.
