The Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) will present a "preview" Cinema and Media Arts Festival November 20 - 23, 2008. The featured guests, whose acclaimed and influential productions cross over boundaries of feature filmmaking, video art, and interactive new media, are emblematic of the kind of media artists HCAS will celebrate at the annual Festival.
In 2009 the Cinema And Media Arts Festival will grow to be a week-long festival with concurrent events throughout Houston. Expect a wide array of live events integrating cinema, music, and performance, outdoor projections, interactive installations in galleries, and Internet-designed and generated movies, as well as theatrical presentations of international films and videos.
