November 2-November 27, 2009
In the Main and Side Galleries, Jung Center of Houston presents the exhibition Homage to the Matriarch, group show on view November 2-27. Featuring the work of artists Polly Hammett, Julie Cobb, Virginia Cobb, and Ginna Dowling.
One family, two generations, four artists that work with diverse method, medium and symbols that include painting, printmaking, collage and digital images, pay homage to the artist who was their influence and inspiration.
