'Exposing Terrorism: Inside the Terror Triangle' by JBS CEO Arthur Thompson

We are proud to be hosting Mr. Arthur Thompson, CEO of The John Birch Society, who will be appearing in Houston, Texas, Monday, November 9, speaking on 'Exposing Terrorism: Inside the Terror Triangle' as part of the Fall tour of the Freedom's Voices (aka John Birch Society speaker's bureau). It goes without saying that there has been a lot of misinformation on this subject from both the liberal and neo-conservative media. A key part of the Society's ongoing mission is to inform the public and to provide both ideological and organizational leadership to the freedom movement. Accordingly, we are sponsoring this tour and asking you and yours to get on board and help us build a substantial audience for Mr. Thompson. In his speech/power point presentation Mr. Thompson will raises some serious questions about the 'threat' from radical Islam and the purpose of the 'War on Terror.' Below are just a few of them: a. Do Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and other Islamic terror groups serve as ÂÂ'frontsÂÂ' or ÂÂ'deniable assetsÂÂ' for long-time state adversaries of the United States; b. Is a greater war in the Middle East an objective of the terrorists?; and c. Is the frightening of the American people into surrendering their civil liberties and even our national sovereignty a major objective of the terrorists as well? We need to know this information lest we get caught 'flat-footed' by the next major terror strike when the White House asks us to give up more of our liberties, including even our firearms, all in the name of the 'War on Terror.' Remember that the Department of Homeland Security works with a rather expansive definition of what a terrorist or potential terrorist is. It is not restricted to the adherents of radical Islam.
