Elves and More Bicycle Delivery

Elves and More is a local organization based in Spring, Texas that in 2008 provided 90,000 bicycles to underpriviledged children in school districts in Houston and surrounding cities. I, and some good folks from the Waller Road Dawgs, happily took part in this event last year. Even with a small turnout of riders we were able to make a huge impact. We delivered an 18-wheeler full of bicycles to 2 schools and distributed the bikes to the kids. I simply do not have the words to describe the feeling being able to personally give hundreds of children bicycles for Christmas. December 19th is the date that the escort will be needed to help these trucks navigate to their respective schools. Volunteers will be needed prior to this date to assemble and inspect the bicycles before they are distributed. Additional information will be provided here as we get closer to the date.
