Event details: Dragons and Fairies: Exploring Viet Nam Through Folktales
Description
Kids and adults will enter folktale theaters to view the stories behind the culture and traditions of Vietnam while exploring the daily experiences of Vietnamese people in Dragons & Fairies: Exploring Viet Nam Through Folktales. Families will dive into what life is like in Viet Nams rural areas by wandering the city streets or hopping on a scooter and navigating through busy traffic. They will enter a houseboat and a house, like the ones in Viet Nams urban seaside regions, and carry their goods from the market using yoke carriers. Visitors will also learn how to perform a dragon dance or find out about their personalities according to the year they were born while creating Zodiac Rubbings. They can even view Manga-style art to see a familys preparations for festivities!
