Beginner Zen Meditation

"When there is nothing in the mind, there is everything." Learn to meditate with the support of a group setting and under the guidance of zen master, Jing Xiao Shifu, in the beginner class series. General class size ranges anywhere from 10 to 50 practitioners depending on the program, but the meditation hall can accommodate up to 100 participants. There is no need to RSVP at this site, just show up at the center to attend the classes. If you are new to meditation, consider speaking to a dharma master for an introduction. Each class lasts about 2 hours with the first hour for meditation and the latter hour for dharma lecture/discussion. There are no fees for the classes. Donations are encouraged as the center is supported entirely by the generiosity of its participants and volunteers. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
