Event details: A Fertle Holiday
Description
November 20, 2008-January 10, 2009
Radio Music Theatre's annual production of A Fertle Holiday, now in its twenty-fourth year, has become a Houston classic.
The comedy chronicles the ever-popular Singing Fertle Family's trouble-ridden reunion as they attempt to entertain their rich relatives from San Diego.
Rich Mills, Vicki Farrell, and Steve Farrell bring the big Texas family to life by portraying all the relatives and townspeople needed to create the illusion of a bustling Christmas get-together.
For twenty-four years the Fertle clan has been gathering at Ned and Mildred's home for butter pie and some good old family dysfunction.
It's a Houston tradition that you don't want to miss. So bring your whole family: dad, mom, grandpa, grandma and the kids. The Fertle family will all be there and so should yours.
If you come from a family background, you'll have no trouble enjoying this Houston Christmas Classic. And feel free to bring the kids and grandparents...RMT's comedy is suitable for friends and family of all ages.
A Fertle Holiday will open on November 20, and play through January 10, 2009, with performances every THURSDAY and FRIDAY at 8:30, and SATURDAY at 8:00 and 10:30 p.m.
Desserts, snacks, wines, champagnes, beers, cappuccino, and soft drinks are available throughout the show.
AND DON'T FORGET NEW YEAR'S EVE!
It's always a special evening at RMT. All seats are reserved so you'll know exactly where you'll be sitting. A catered meal is included, and in addition to the show, the cast turns into a rock band at midnight and plays rock and roll favorites into the night.
